
Operations Manager
INTRODUCTION
With continued business growth and expanding engineering initiatives, CS Medical has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Operations Manager. CS Medical is a leading manufacturer of FDA registered disinfectors used in hospitals worldwide. The company has patented devices that provide high level disinfection for ultrasound intra-cavity probes.
Our products incorporate temperature critical fluidics, microprocessor control and data transfer, interactive human interface and electromechanical design components. The company installs and services its systems throughout North America and has international distributors in countries worldwide. We operate in an ISO 13485 quality environment and are an FDA registered manufacturer.
JOB TASKS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Manager is a key member of the leadership team responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping/receiving and warehouse operations as it pertains to inventory integrity, order fulfillment and the movement of goods and oversees maintenance of all company facilities and assets.
JOB DUTIES

Development and implementation of operational process activities to meet production schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives in a regulatory environment.

Prioritize operations schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, and shipping product to customers.

Help plan and administer procedures and budgets, both operational and capital. Select and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production, warehousing, receiving, and shipping functions.

Develop, establish, and maintain operational objectives and assignments.

Responsible for the activities to manufacture and distribute product to FDA and CE requirements for medical devices.

Develop key performance indices, set goals, and execute plans for continuous improvement in quality, cost, employee performance, while maintaining a high level of employee safety.

Manage financial costs of operations and look for cost effective solutions.

Assist in audits of potential contract manufacturing facilities.

Participate in design control activities affecting manufacturing.

Accountable for production and shipping dollars.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Minimum 10 years related experience with 5 years of management.

Knowledge of regulations and standards of medical devices.

Manufacturing experience with companies engaged in the manufacture of high quality, FDA and CE regulated products.

Proven leadership skills, results oriented, highly collaborative, team player, and self-starter who can operate in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in state-of-the-art, multi-step, high volume, process control manufacturing and process development.

Experience with ISO 13485 requirements. Manufacturing management experience in manufacturing planning, documented systems, GMP, and quality. Understanding of manufacturing limitations and capabilities.

Knowledge with and experience utilizing ERP systems, SAGE 100 product knowledge a plus.

Knowledge with and experience utilizing eQMS systems, ComplianceQuest product knowledge a plus.

Expert knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed deadline expectations.
LOCATION
This position will be based at our Creedmoor, NC office.
Terms of employment
This is a full-time, exempt, Salaried position.
Hours
The core hours shall be Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm. As a salaried employee you are expected to work at least forty (40) hours per week. Our flex schedule policy applies to you. You can flex around the core hours listed above to complete the remaining required hours in the office. You have the discretion for lunch and other breaks. We expect our managers to complete their work and manage their time as needed.
